This book was an informational book about the food of the world. I really liked how organized the book was and how everything was clearly labled. There was a map on each page about the region the book was talking about. Each map had labels where there was the most food. Also, each page has specific food information from that country. For example, when they talked about Canada and the United States they mentioned that North America grows the most wheat plants in the world. They had a picture show more of wheat to go along with the information. This book is good for kids because they have seen or eaten a lot of the food mentioned in this book. They would be able to relate it to themselves and get a big picture of where things come from. The main idea of this book is just to inform children about where food comes from. show less
