This is one of the most important books that I have ever read. The book maps out the future by stating problems that scientists are trying to solve.
To wit: dark matter, cosmogenesis, the cosmological constant (dark energy), quantum gravity theory, origin of mass, solar neutrinos, gamma-ray bursts, unification of forces, high-temperature superconductors, DNA/protein mechanisms, protein folding, tree-of-life reconstruction, free will, consciousness, inner-Earth dynamics, earthquake predicting, emergence of macroscopic chemistry from atomic forces, fullerene technology, free energy, and controlled nuclear fusion. 650+ pages, but Vacca's show more knowledge, non-flakiness, and writing skill are hardly adequate for the task. show less
