Great, so necessary! I love how forward thinking and practical PYE is! Very refreshing in a world moving beyond duality
Not a parent myself, my interest in this book was as someone who *was* raised with a deep sense of entitlement, self-importance, and feeling of specialness (by very well-intentioned, loving parents). This book shed so much light on the hellish problems I had with growing up, and on how and why parents unwittingly raise their children this way.
If you want to move through the three stages of romantic relationships and experience true love, this book is for you. Full of Buddhist wisdom and proven psychological strategies, Love Between Equals challenges us to move out of falling in love and move through creating an intimate enemy (where most romantic relationships fail) and move into true love--the ability of two individuals to love and accept each other as they are.

Do not attempt to practice the principles in this book if you are show more looking for something easy. The skills needed for true love require dedication and devotion and a ton of hard, and often, painful work. But the rewards are priceless! show less
