This manga focuses on the students of a secluded all boys' high school as they deal with the sexual frustration of being separated from females and the hijinks and drama that ensues when they do occasionally come into contact with one. The manga isn't quite like any other (admittedly somewhat limited amount) of shoujo I've read, being more focused on displaying a less romanticized version of boys (less sparkles and perfection and more sweat pants, porn mags, and crude humor) while only show more occasionally grazing homoerotic vibes (rather than making BL fan pandering the main focus as many manga of similar concept do).
As such it didn't hit a lot of my annoyance buttons as many shoujo do, but that seems to be pretty much the only thing notable about series. The plot is episodic girl-of-the-chapter stories, the characters of both genders either archetypal shells (the school prince, the girly/gay one, the "violent" older sister) or lacking much in the way of personality all together. The humor is frequently bawdy but more just silliness than anything actually funny (though personally I do find this to be the case with much comedy manga).
I was lent this manga by a friend who wanted me to read it. While I could see some who found the humor more to their taste enjoying it as a fun if disposable read, it took some hard thought to figure out why anyone would go out of their way to recommend it to anyone. The best I could come up with was that my friend thought I would like the less dreamy, more boyish presentation of the boys. Frankly though, when the characterization is unimaginative and unconvincing, I'm not going to be able to appreciate this aspect, even if it is something that usually appeals to me. show less

Inconsistent artwork and the premise is pretty awful, but I will read on.
