For any lover of Harold Norse, of the beats, or of an interesting life, Memoirs of a Bastard Angel combines the best in autobiography (detailing encounters with some of the twentieth century's best writers) with an entertaining portrait of the world, homosexuality, and writing. One of my favorite memoirs.
