This collection of nine essays and articles seeks to answer the question, can glacier and ice melt be actually be reversed? This book does not answer that question for the reader, but allows the reader to decide based on the opinions and research of the contributing authors. This text debates the issue but takes no stance. My one big problem with this collection is the lack of representation by actual, credible scientists. Only one or two of the authors is an earth scientist of any sort, one show more of whom, Cliff Ollier, has actually been debunked by the scientific community. The rest are journalists, writers, reporters, and professors. All perfectly capable of doing research, sure, but it would be even more dynamic to include views from more scientists doing their own original research. I would not recommend this book to any teen trying to do serious research on the topic. This is more a collection of opinions than anything. show less
