1,000 Garden Ideas: The Best of Everything in a Visual Sourcebook by Stafford Cliff
Visually lovely but devoid of useful information. For instance, if one sees a statue on page 198, one might expect sourcing information in an index. No love here, just a rudimentary photo credit and then a jumble of sources with no links to individual pictures. Frustrating!

Great to see a big book of pictures that isn't a cookie-cutter photo spread of house and home magazines. Original homes, original photos, original styles. Great for seeing the possibilities and getting to know what you like yourself.

Fotograf Gilles de Chabaneix zeigt viele viele Bilder zum Thema aus seinem durch jahrelange Reisetätigkeit Bilderpool, mit kurzen aber informativen Texten von Stafford Cliff.
Dass das Buch schon 5 Jahre alt ist (dafür auch schon wohlfeiler), tut der Vielfalt und Schönheit der vorgestellten Gärten, Innenhöfe, Terrassen, Balkone keinen Abbruch. Eine Bilderreise die Ideen liefert....
