I don't know about this book. It seems to be geared towards teaching someone to make sense of all the herbal supplements at the local herbal store, rather than a good understanding of herbs in a less commercial way. Much of her information seems to be gleaned from the labels of countless herbal supplement bottles? If you are interested in growing, or processing (drying, making tinctures, powders, etc), effectivly making you own blends properly dosed etc, then you ought to buy a different show more book. It is very incomplete, or blank, on info on specific herbs, their dosage and how to treat each herb. I suppose if you just want to make sense of all the supplements in the Wal-Mart supplement aisle, then this would be a good book. But, still i think you'd be better off finding yourself a Nature's Sunsine or GNC rep. show less
