Although this book did not have a distinct story line, I still found it interesting and I think young children would be able to learn a lot from it especially since it is a factual book about trees and how they grow. A nonfiction book may not be a kid’s top choice but the colorful visuals would definitely draw the reader in. Since trees are something they see everyday, it might be interesting for them to learn about how a tree grows and that is a story in itself. Also, kids would show more understand how to describe things due to the numerous amounts of descriptive attributes and characteristic events in the story. show less
