Good book; helpful for the intermediate student who wants to be familiar with some of the most common mistakes that English-speakers learning German make. Certainly a book that I would consider extremely good for a German learner's bookshelf.
Keep in mind, however, that this book is *not* a beginner's intro to German. You're not going to learn the basics of the German language with this. It does, however, make a wonderful supplement to just about any intro course text.

Like Cassell’s German-English Dictionary, this is another another purchase from my freshman year of high school that has stood the test of time. I won't pretend that I reference 501 German Verbs as often as I might, but I find it comforting to know that it sits on my shelf, close at hand when I need to look up a particular verb.
501 German verbs fully conjugated in all the tenses in a new easy-to-learn format, alphabetically arranged by Henry Strutz
A valuable guide to the language, providing many helpful verb forms. I have used this work extensively.
Good reference book. Explains things clearly in neat little charts. Doesn't weigh much, either!
