Sunday Times Small Gardens for Modern Living by Nikoli
Aimed more at interested amateurs. Brief section on how to plan and shows 12 garden designs. However, examples of design are illustrated only bysmall photos and not full plans so difficult often to tell overall impact.

Book is very good as an ideas resource book as lots of great photos to illustrate things like paving, fences, ornaments etc.
