This was a life-changing book for me and began my interest in Nazi Germany and the impact it had on world history. Disturbing, but highly recommended reading.
This is the true story of the nazi camp, Treblinka and how after almost a million Jews died there in the ovens, an uprising led to the burning of the camp and the escape of 40 survivors into the Polish forests.
I read the 1966 edition of this book, the cover was the same. The tragic history of a concentration camp and the rebellion of its inhabitants.
