He has published seventeen books in the areas or" inculturation, world mission, and reconciliation, including The New Catholicity, Reconciliation: Mission and Ministry in a Changing Social Order, and The Ministry show more of Reconciliation: Spirituality and Strategies. A past president of both the American Society of Missiology and of the Catholic Theological Society of America, he has served as dean of the Catholic Theological Union in Chicago, where he currently teaches. show less
