Put quite simply, this is the most comprehensive book on soapmaking that I've come across.

For reasons unknown to me, about a year ago I developed a sudden interest in soapmaking, candlemaking, alternative medicine, etc. I bought and/or read several books on these subjects, and none come close to "The Everything Soapmaking Book." It leads you through the various techniques (M&P, CP, HP), acquaints you with the many oils, butters, essential oils, fragrances, etc. that are available to the show more soapmaker. It even gives you all the information you need to start selling your products, and contains a large selection of online retailers from to purchase your supplies.

This is an excellent soapmaking book. Probably the best one out there. It covers, cold-process, hot-process, liquid, transparent and cream soap. A great book for beginning and experienced soapmakers alike.

Clear, interesting and seductive. I want to make my own soap!
