Years ago, Victoria’s husband was killed by the mob. In order to protect themselves, Victoria and her son were put into witness protection. The Russian mob find them though and from there, Victoria has no choice but to take her son on a game of cat and mouse in order to survive.

So Victoria went from 0 to 100 real fast. She went from an average domestic mom to a badass in the span of a single chapter. She’s not just an average mom, she’s a former FBI agent, and isn’t afraid to use her show more training. There was plenty of action and suspense throughout this entire story, and I was hooked on every moment of it.

The narration was okay, but I didn’t much care for the female voices.
