While the added four minutes are a marginal improvement, fleshing out some character relationships and story logic slightly, they do not fundamentally change the film's core issues: a blandly executed plot with forgettable dialogue. The aesthetics are often striking, though, and the attempts at dark fantasy world building are tantalizingly close to giving the film real personality, especially when regarding Snow White and the Queen's very different relationships to the supernatural. Had the show more film explored this further, the end result would have been far less forgettable. As it stands, it's a watchable action fantasy with some cool and creepy villain moments, but sadly nothing more. show less
I enjoyed it, full of action and homages to the original and some great acting, the story was well done, the characters echoed the originals well but it still has the issues of disparity of Japanese characters to white characters.
I'd like to see more.
I'd like to see more.
Too stupid to watch. A waste of special effects.
