Each two-page spread has multiple photos and information about some facet of Viking life. It is a book that does not need to be read cover to cover so it lends itself well to being used as a preliminary resource on different sub-topics of the culture. What I like about the book is that it covers show more the breadth of Viking life and not just their weapons and ships. show less
