Aimed at the under 12s age group - obvious by 'stickers!' Included.
The so-called 'posters' are in actual fact simply pages that have perforations to enable clumsy fingers to pull them out cleanly. They are not really posters at all! Most of them have some writing on them, some even have whole passages of editorial text across the image.
There is not one actual photograph from the film in the entire book. All images are hand drawn. However, don't be judgemental! The quality of these photo show more realistic illustrations (by an uncredited artist) is excellent!
The pièce de résistance however is attached to the back cover: a giant fold-out promo film poster that I have not seen elsewhere; with Drax in the forefront standing with Star-Lord who is masked and holding the Orb, Gamora is off to the left drawing her sword and Rocket standing on Groots shoulder. Easily worth the price of the whole magazine!

My personal issue, however, with this publication remains that the mini posters are not really posters and are spoilt by text and unnecessarily large name lables; and also that the perforation marks often intersect important features of the artwork such as cutting across characters eyelines etc. (Most young people can handle removing a couple of staples to get at the posters, especially as this is apparently a poster magazine. So, I have knocked off 1.5 stars because I am mean. ;) show less

A chilling X-Men tale involving vampires and basements. I love the story because it is a character focus and it branches away from the normal attitude of Marvel comics. The only problem I have with it was that Wolverine, the focus character, appears twenty pages from the end. Barely a chance to associate him as a character vital to the story.

I'll mark just this book read since it finishes the second story arc of the series.
Very interesting read as it explores Luke's search for more information about the Jedi, before he meets Yoda. This book ends with a cliffhanger that continues in the crossbook event "Vader Down".
