This is an oral history of baseball that would have been MUCH better had even the minimal amount of editing had been done on the manuscript. Names are misspelled or even wrong. I mean, how does *that* happen? I mean, if the interviews are transcribed directly as given and the principal makes a mistake, that's one thing, but then again, why would someone even let that stand?
Readable & fascinating. A behind-the-scenes look at the subtle & blatent realities of tourism as experienced by the people who work in the tourism industry. In the Caribbean, this prominently includes issues of race, class, & nationality.
