Mike Brearley

The finest book on cricket I've ever read by the proverbial country mile... Worth it for Brearley's analysis of "back of the hand merchants" alone.

Fun reading this... knew nothing about this series, but I am just starting to get into the sport, so it was a little history lesson for me.

Musings from the former England cricket captain turned psychoanalyst. Jottings from a representative of the establishment who has drifted through a privileged life.

As with anything Brearley has written, it's 'brainy' and in this case quite well put together with good selection of illustrations.
