First-rate book. General Ridgway is an excellent writer for a professional soldier, and his book on the Korean War also makes an oft-repeated plea for sanity in strategic planning. A good history of a war that deserves more attention than it receives. There's also some observations in there that you wish would have been noted in the last few years - the need for realistic goals, and realistic strategies to attain said goals.
