Actors Emily Watson and Stellan Skarsgard were absolutely fabulous. What actors! The cinematography is fabulous. von Trier has a shot in every "chapter" of the movie that is like a great landscape painting. He sets the formal, text announced chapters (like "Bess Gets Married") as a backdrop, along with the beautiful landscaped cinematography, to a very dark drama.
Pretty trippy. Fell asleep in the middle. Violent ending.

As a planet hurtles toward a collision course with Earth, two sisters (Kirsten Dunst, Charlotte Gainsbourg) cope with the approaching doomsday in different ways.
I fell asleep in the middle and don't care if I see the rest. Very arty.
