One of best and most complete on this great director. Based on Kieslowski's interviews ("I'm so-so" documentary, 1995; "Kieslowski - Dialogue" (1991) about filming 'Double lives of Veronique', etc.) it's built like monologue, not Q&A session. Perfect.
The only 'but' - Kieslowski's style of speaking; edited & smoothed-out a bit by Danuta Stok. In Polish he sounds very simple & straightforward. But Stok did excellent job indeed.
Hint: Kieslowski's buffs must see documentary interviews of the show more director - impression at first hand is the best. show less

Not just excellent movies, but truly excellent screenplays. It's especially educational to read the detailing in the action descriptions, since so much of Kieslowski's films are driven by everything that isn't dialogue.(Kudos to the translator.)

2023 Movie #57. 1994. The 3rd of Kieslowski's renowned Three Colors trilogy. A young model (Jacob) meets a retired judge (Trintignant) who is secretly listening in on his neighbor's wireless phones. Great film full of unlikely but believable coincidences. A Swiss film in French.
