I've been playing - and collecting - GURPS materials for *way* too long. This isn't really the sort of book you read through, although you can if you want. Instead, it's a system for running a game, and one that's easily modifiable to pretty much whatever you want to play.

I switch between this and White Wolf's 2nd edition World of Darkness materials mostly. But I come back to this specifically for the quote about ice cream.
Be vampires and werewolves and snotty faerie changelings. Any similarity to angsty RPGs is purely coincidental. You're here to kill things!
You and other players are exploring a dungeon. Kick down the next door by drawing a card. It may be a curse, a monster, or an item. If you defeat a monster, you go up a level. The first person to level 10 wins the game! Items that you find can help you along the way. However, other players can impede your progress by aiding the monsters you attack or cursing you. Who will be the first to make it to level 10! This card game pokes fun at many tropes involved in dungeon crawling role playing show more games. Will you find the boots of butt-kicking or the chainsaw of dismemberment? Will the drink in your hand or the stairs in your house aid or impede your progress? This up-to four-player whimsical game will certainly draw a laugh. show less
