I spent way too much time while reading this trying to decide if it was genius or too derivative or not really all that good. I came to the conclusion that it was not worth the amount of thought I was giving it; if it is genius, the genius did not shine through clearly for me. It seemed like sort of a mash up of You Can't Take it With You and The Skin of Our Teeth. I decided that if you need to mash up plays that are truly genius then perhaps you are just derivative, and left it at that. I show more could be wrong. show less
This is hilarious. I read it on the train between Reading and Winchester. This copy, once owned by a Raymond W, has been edited in blue ink for performance and the better.
N.F.Simpson is the master. The comedy of the absurd. Communicate with each other people do not. Great dust jacket too.
