I wasn't impressed with the first two chapters on Vinegar Hill and the Eureka Stockade, but after that it really improves a lot. I liked how the author divided up each of the 40 chapters and told a person's story to start and then got into the more detailed battle descriptions. If your interested in a very good reference book of great Australian battles, then this is as good as any.
This is an account of the voyage of the First Fleet, carrying the first convicts and white settlers to Australia. It is based on first hand accounts and includes artwork and diary entries from the time, as well as an exhaustive list of all who made this historic voyage to Australia.
Very good condition. Dust jacket shows very minor wear along spine and corner edges. All pages and binding in great shape.
