About the Author

Donna Green spent her early years on her grandparents' New England farm where she learned to value the serenity and independence of country life. Self-taught, she began exhibiting her paintings when she was fifteen. These days, she reserves Saturdays for showing her original works at her studio, a show more little 18th century cottage located in Cohasset Village along Massachusetts' south shore. She is pictured here with her daughter, Monique, where you can always find her when not painting ... in her garden. show less

This book is a must read to your children especially a daughter. The poems are worthy and the illustrations are gorgeous!
This book is a collection of poems about children's wonder. Each page has beautiful illustrations that help tell the story. The poems focus on nature and what a child's thoughts would be. These are great bedtime stories for children, and they encourage curiosity about the world. I would recommend this book to all ages.
FROM AMAZON: A great address book for anyone who enjoys beautiful illustrations with old dolls.

My copy has many old addresses, notes, and family information -- needs to be updated.
