Awesome book! A short but very good book about a little boy with autism, and how his brother helps him improve his life and takes steps to interact more with the world. Gives a clear, informative view of what it's like to have an autistic brother.
A fine addition (under either version of the title) to the list of children's books about sharecroppers and other seasonal workers. This stands out (in the US) because it takes place in Australia.

My favorite of the list is [b:The Velvet Room|6767817|The Velvet Room|Zilpha Keatley Snyder|https://i.gr-assets.com/images/S/compressed.photo.goodreads.com/books/1287002250l/6767817._SY75_.jpg|2440216] which I read over and over as a child. Other notable titles include the Newbery book [b:Blue show more Willow|774396|Blue Willow|Doris Gates|https://i.gr-assets.com/images/S/compressed.photo.goodreads.com/books/1348991738l/774396._SY75_.jpg|1285813] and [b:Judy's Journey|42452|Judy's Journey|Lois Lenski|https://i.gr-assets.com/images/S/compressed.photo.goodreads.com/books/1206893784l/42452._SY75_.jpg|41935] by [a:Lois Lenski|5310|Lois Lenski|https://images.gr-assets.com/authors/1210188458p2/5310.jpg], who also wrote about other children whose families did not look like those of [b: Dick and Jane|487599|Fun with Dick and Jane|William S. Hmm. I'm going to find or create a Listopia. Please join me in adding titles to it.
