I liked this book because it was an easy read aloud. The illustrations were entertaining as well. The book does a great job of incorporating math into the literature without the kids even realizing it.
You could obviously use this book for many different lesson plans. You could use it over kittens or homes. I believe that the most beneficial lesson plan for this book would be in a math lesson plan over shapes. You could also have the kids build their own castle out of block or draw this. This book could be used to build many skills in your classroom. show less
