As they come closer to finding Joan, Rose and Vic journey from the local church to a mysterious sex club whose members dress in demon costumes. The more they learn about what Joan was doing in the days before her disappearance, the more questions they have, until Rose must decide: Does she believe in real evil? And does she believe in real love?

My Thoughts:

I've read this book 3 years ago, and I can definitely say that the story is still intact in my mind. The idea of having a demon inside a church is really creepy. It is really unsettling the way people were possessed and influenced by this demon to create such havoc in a used-to-be peaceful town.

The plot is exquisite, the characters are amazing and all in all this is a very unsettling but amazing read. If you want fast-pace, I highly recommend this book. show less

Certe parti erano veramente coinvolgenti, ma più procedevo verso la fine più le scelte della scrittrice mi piacevano sempre meno.
