Had never seen this film before about a real incident involving a British battleship in China. Or heard about the incident before. Quite enjoyable though, even if some bits are classic stiff upper lip British war film tropes.
Two people escape from a city where no one's allowed to live past 29.
It doesn't meet its potential, but it's still perfectly good. The story falls apart right at the end. Ustinov's character is fun.

2023 movie #89. 1975. Oh, boy was this terrible, entertaining but terribleness. It takes place in the 1930's. Doc and his gang go to South America to investigate his father's death. They meet the 'green death', electric green flying snakes. And Doc gets his shirt torn to shreads.
Phlegmatic, punctual Englishman Phileas Fogg believes in progress, science, and intellectual deduction. When a member of the Reform Club challenges him on the impossibility of completing a round-the-world tour in eighty days, he wagers his entire fortune to prove that he can do it. He is accompanied by his valet Passepartout, and followed by Mr. Fix, a detective who believes he is a notorious bank robber.
