The lack of color illustrations make it not as pleasant for browsing as some, but there are plenty of patterns for use. The overall feel is rather old-fashioned.

Also, there are rather more designs that might appeal to boys than to girls, because almost any floral quilt looks good in a girl's bedroom but patterns of boyish interestshow more
are rare. However, if you have a tomboy who would like an airplane quilt rather than one with dolls on it, please indulge her -- she will grow up all too soon, as children have a habit of doing.
