Vegan Feasts is a little more gourmet than I usually make, although not all of the recipes are difficult. It is a very good overall cookbook for every level of chef. The only thing I would wish for would be pictures.
This is the best veggie cookbook I own. It covers everything from everyday staples to treats for special occasions. The Christmas cake and pudding recipes have become our "standard" ones - they're lovely and easy to tweak with whatever fruits, nuts, etc we have. Instructions are clear and concise, and I've not found a bad recipe in there yet!
I count this as the best cookery book I own. It is a plain, practical compilation of recipes which work. A few anecdotes leaven the mix and it is pleasant to read. Now out of print and hard to find, though I imagine most recipes will be in one of her later books.
Excellent book! I got this book by accident from the library when looking for something else, but am now going to buy my own copy. An excellent beginners introduction to Buddhism, focusing on it as an approach to life rather than a religion. A helpful guide to meditation and a reducing stress in your life, while focusing on being kinder to others as well.
