A good entry in a sadly short-lived series. Cain goes after a slave dealer who has captured a plane load of beauty contestants.
Tis espionage adventure series is on a par with Matt Helm and deserved a longer run.
Alan Caillou was a prolific author and screenwriter. To me, the Cabot Cain series are his best books. Cain is a man of adventure, sort of an everyday version of Doc Savage. This time out, Cain has to rescue his friend, Interpol agent Fenrek, from Greek guerillas searching for a Swiss bank number. Fast-paced and exciting.
Cabot Cain tracks a rogue mercenary who has gained access to botulism agents.
The hunt for a war criminal leads Cain to a fortress in Brazil and a web of family secrets.
