This has the bones of a great book--a clever idea and a truly suspenseful plotline. Unfortunately, the author can't keep simple homonyms straight (bear/bare, it's/its were the most noticeable), but she can't even keep the characters' names straight! The most egregious was in a scene with Walter and Andrew (which names she confuses throughout the entire book) where she calls BOTH characters Andrew throughout the entire scene!
This is terribly disappointing, because it could have been awesome, show more but the lack of simple editing ruins the whole thing. show less

I was surprised to learn that Diana Diamond is not the author's real name but a pseudonym name of William P. Kennedy. I found this to be a real page-turner! Every time I thought I had it figured out...I'd turn another page and realize I was definitely on the wrong track. This is not the book to start before bedtime when you're tired...you'll stay up late and keep reading. :) Enjoy!! I'm off to find a title by William P. Kennedy.
OUTSTANDING! This suspense/drama, sister against sister who done what to who & how do you know who's good & who's bad book is a nail biter & a page turner that's next to impossible to put down....It takes you back & forth wondering which sister is the evil one, or wait, is it the one's husband? Or is it the long term mentor? There are arguments & theories for & against EACH character that will keep you guessing till the final chapter
