- Felicity Heaton is a romance author writing as both Felicity Heaton and F E Heaton. She is passionate about penning paranormal tales full of vampires, witches, werewolves, angels and shape-shifters, and has been interested in all things preternatural and fantastical since she was just a child. Her other passion is science-fiction and she likes nothing more than to immerse herself in a whole new universe and the amazing species therein. She used to while away days at school and college dreaming of vampires, werewolves and witches, or being lost in space, and used to while away evenings watching movies about them or reading gothic horror stories, science-fiction and romances.
Having tried her hand at various romance genres, it was only natural for her to turn her focus back to the paranormal, fantasy and science-fiction worlds she enjoys so much. She loves to write seductive, sexy and strong vampires, werewolves, witches, angels and alien species. The worlds she often dreams up for them are vicious, dark and dangerous, reflecting aspects of the heroines and heroes, but her characters also love deeply, laugh, cry and feel every emotion as keenly as anyone does. She makes no excuses for the darkness surrounding them, especially the paranormal creatures, and says that this is their world. She's just honoured to write down their adventures. - Nationality

Felicity Heaton’s out-of-the-box approach to shifters never ceases to amaze, and dragons, the most recent addition to the ETERNAL MATES series, were indeed the stuff made of legends. I loved how the author molded accepted characteristics into supernatural marvels, and the plot was so full bodied that I couldn’t even haphazard a guess as to the direction the future installments will take. I’m crossing my fingers for Bleu, but Taryn, Harbin, Emelia, Hartt, Fuery show more & Ren are all vying for my attention as well, ergo my darling Elf may just have to continue with his walk-on stints for a little while longer.
I’ve only read one set of novels that featured dragon shifters, and it was Young Adult, so I was looking forward to seeing what Paranormal Romance would have to offer as far as this fabled beast was concerned. I felt like a kid in a candy store with all of the new lore that Heaton infused this universe with. The breathing fire was a given, but the heat and healing aspects were not, nor were the prophetic visions, limitations on travelling between the realms because of witch-y interference, and the treasure hoarding amused me to no end. This book was an absolute riot from the opening chapter!
Loke was a magnificent character; I enjoyed everything about him. He’s lived such a simple life, and has for the most part cut himself off from dragon society because after six thousand years of existence, he’s grown tired of their frivolous ways. He saved one of his enemies from the battlefield after predicting her death which was an odd move, but it also played on every woman’s fantasy. *fans self* Anais’ unshakable faith in Archangel, questionable survival instincts, and overall naiveté had me second guessing her decisions; however she didn’t make the same mistake twice, so no harm no foul.
This installment had an abundance of action and romance which served as a reminder that even though I liked the previous two novellas, those extra one hundred pages make a huge difference. I thought that the author solved the dragon mortal realm banishment and mating predicaments adeptly, and the latter even lead to some light bondage which I’m never opposed to, especially when it’s the male who’s getting tied up. Loren, Thorne, Kyter, Cavanaugh & Bleu (have to save the best for last!) admirers will be contended with book 7 because they all turn up, although you might feel conflicted after meeting Loke.
TAKEN BY A DRAGON is a double entendre kind of title which means that Anais was a very lucky girl! ~4.5 stars show less

When I began this title I had great expectations based on my prior experience with the author’s work. I have not read all the books in the Her Angel series, but I have read enough to have an idea of what I would be getting myself into. This is a poignant story of revenge, redemption, triumph, unconditional love and forgiveness. It is well written and encompasses a delightful and steamy romance between two unlikely people whose pasts are mired in pain and destruction. This book is filled show more with angst and best of all it has a happily ever after. Ms. Heaton’s perspective of heaven and hell is unique. In this series, we see demons and angels having relationships and falling in love. We see them working together to prevent the impending apocalypse. And the most surprising of all is the devil having human emotions. The major theme in this series is the war between good and evil and in this final installment we see this war coming full circle and good ultimately conquering evil. The characters are well developed and the fight scenes are awesome. The author’s descriptions are vivid and vibrant which makes you feel as if you are a part of this fantastic world. Her Avenging Angel is an entertaining read that has the perfect balance of action and steamy romance. I enjoyed every moment of the story and would recommend it to readers who are looking for an edgy and dark paranormal romance. show less
HUNTED BY A JAGUAR by FELICITY HEATON I know that when I take up a book written by Felicity Heaton I am in for an exciting adventure, one that I do not want to end anytime soon. Hunted by a Jaguar did not disappoint. It was everything I was expecting and more.
This is the fourth book in the exciting Eternal Mates series and like the previous books it can be read as a stand-alone. As a side note it would be great to read the other books in the series as they are all good in their own right.

Hunted by a Jaguar is the story of Kyter and Iolanthe. Kyter is a jaguar shifter and the owner of a nightclub in London. He was estranged from his pride due to circumstances beyond his command. However, unforeseen circumstances led to a reunion with his pride. I found the reunion upsetting and my heart went out to Kyter. It’s heartrending to see all he had gone through being a member of the pride. Kyter is strong, but there is a vulnerable side to him, which he keeps hidden from those closest to him.
Iolanthe is a bad ass, deadly and spunky elf. It was a pleasant surprise to discover who she is related to. She is a treasure hunter and was currently on a mission to find an artifact for a dangerous client. Her search led to her crossing paths with Kyter who also happened to be looking for the same artifact. Here we see two people who are complete opposites who have the same goal but different missions. Will they work together to achieve a common goal or will they go it on their own?
The chemistry between them was off the charts. Kyter recognized her as his fated mate. Iolanthe on the other hand is not willing to accept this. Kyter definitely has his work cut out for him. The hunt is definitely on.
The story, although pure fantasy, touched on real life issues such as prejudices, acceptance of self and the value of teamwork. These are areas we relate to at some point in our lives. It has the perfect balance of romance and action. The fight scenes were awesome. Ms. Heaton is skilled at describing scenes which makes the reader feel as if they are a part of it all. The story flows flawlessly from beginning to end. Hunted by a Jaguar is an awesome, sexy, fast paced paranormal romance that will leave you breathless.
If you are a fan of this author then you know what you are missing by not reading this story.
If you are new to her then what better way to acquaint yourself by starting with this series. I highly recommend it.

Inflamed by an Incubus: A Fated Mates Fae / Phoenix Shifter Paranormal Romance (Eternal Mates Paranormal Romance Series Book 19) by Felicity Heaton
I received this book for free in exchange for an honest review. This does not affect my opinion of the book or the content of my review.
The Eternal Mates series by Felicity Heaton is my number one favourite paranormal series. I look forward to each new release within the series. I always look forward to any opportunity to slip back into this unique world. So I gladly accepted a copy of Inflamed by an Incubus for review. It did not disappoint. Inflamed by an Incubus delivered all I expect show more from this series.
I am not sure if I can adequately convey how much I enjoyed Inflamed by an Incubus. I adore this book. It had everything I expect from the author and the series. An engaging storyline, diverse and relatable characters and a steamy and heartwarming romance. Heaton delivered a story that quickly pulls the reader in.
The main characters, Fenix and Evelyn aka Aderyn, are fated mates. However, a curse cast by a mage years ago keeps them apart. Fenix is an Incubus, while Evelyn is a phoenix shifter. The curse activates each time Evelyn and Fenix find each other and falls in love. Whenever this happens, she dies, but when she rises, she has no memory of Fenix and the love they shared. Fenix has spent years trying to find the mage in order to have the curse broken. In his current quest to locate Evelyn, he discovers she working for Archangel; the organization seeking to destroy all supernatural species. He was now faced with convincing her that her employers were the enemy; she is not human, and that she is fated mate.
The thing which made the romance in this book so special was Fenix’s faithfulness to Evelyn. As an incubus, he feeds of sexual energy and needs a steady supply of sex to keep strong. However, his inability to be with his mate because of the curse made it impossible. One would think in this situation he would see out other females to meet his needs, but he never did. Instead, he sought artificial alternatives.
The romance warmed my heart while burning up the pages. Heaton gives an inside look into Fenix and Evelyn’s fears, doubts and emotional chaos. It was these moments that captured my heart and had me rooting for them.
There were many other things to love about the story aside from the romance. The story delivered intense fight scenes, strong emotional connections, magical moments, and sprinkles of humour.
Despite being book number 19, Inflamed by an Incubus works well as a stand-alone. Heaton provides sufficient information so readers jumping at this point would not be lost. However, after meeting the supporting characters, you will want to go back and read their stories.
With that being said, Inflamed by an Incubus was a solid and entertaining read and one I would recommend to fans of paranormal romance.
