Rain dance by Cathy Applegate

A young girl is living on a farm in the Australian outback with her family. It is a time of drought and we see a visual cue telling us that the drought has caused the father to decide to sell the farm. There is a sense of anticipation as a breeze begins to bring in clouds. Then 'pit...pat...pit...pat' the rain begins. The little girl is so happy that she dances in the rain. The final page shows the paint on the 'For Sale' sign washed away into a few messy red streaks.
