I wasn't a huge fan of this book. While I loved Drake and Josh growing up, and I have seen the movie that this book was based off of, I did not think that this book was a valuable piece of literature. I felt as though the entire book was spoken in dialogue, and there was no real descriptive language. The book doesn't really push readers to think about any big ideas or moral lessons either. The book does have suspense, as the reader follows Drake and Josh throughout their adventures in LA in show more search of Megan, their sister. The characters are believable and easy to imagine in the readers mind, especially if they are familiar with the characters from the TV show. Another book left in my Little Free Library. It will be returning there now that I've read it.

So, I'll admit that I watched Hannah Montana when it was on, although I'm older than the target demographic, mainly because it would run in blocks during the afternoons when I would be done with college classes. It was something to decompress to between class and homework.

This was a nice way to revisit the show. I remember watching the two episodes adapted here back when they ran. The one thing show more about Hannah Montana was that the acting was very over the top, something many of the Disney shows of the age suffered, and that is somehow captured here, which is interesting.
