A ludicrous refutation of evolution based on that hoary logical fallacy "If man is evolved from monkeys, then why are there still monkeys around? Huh? HUH? That's what I THOUGHT."

It must have cost a mint to produce, though - the cover is lenticular (ooooo!), and the interior is wall-to-wall glossy photography. Oh, and rumor has it that much of that glossy photography was used by the author without bothering to procure the rights. If you run across a free copy, it's worth every cent.

It's quite easy to buy into Yahya's self-assured rhetoric if you lack a proper understanding of what evolution, scientific theory, and biology are. Everyone is entitled to an opinion, but do your research and be skeptical.

This is absolutely the silliest book we have ever read. However, the photography is quite beautiful (too bad it is flawed with totally unscientific photo captions and bizarre analysis). To each their own, we might say. See the interesting article in the New York Times: "Islamic creationist and a book sent round the world" by Cornelia Dean, July 17, 2007.
Huge, slick. Mostly magnificent photos of fossils. Muslim Creationist. Extremely naive scientifically.
