Carlos shows Rachel a good time yet keeps his past mostly private which is a source of frustration for Rachel. As time moves forward, show more another apparent suicided turns into a murder investigation with no clues as to motivate. Rachel begins to feel like she's being stalked or maybe it's the investigation making her that way. Can Rachel admit her feelings for Carlos? Who is behind the murders? Who is stalking Rachel? Your answers await you in Stalking Love.
Stalking Love is another winner for Johnny Ray. His characters are rich well thought out and likeable. I loved the dynamic between Rachel and Carlos! The backdrop of real estate was another added character to the story. This book was quite the page turner. I so look forward to the next book by this author who is fast becoming a must buy. show less

That Royce has it all, being smart, handsome, charming, successful, and tough. After losing his last girlfriend to a kidnapping in which she was tortured and killed, he starts a new life under cover of an executive dating service. On a surfing escape he meets Victoria and even though they only spend one night together he experiences an amazingly strong connection with her. He doesn't give up on his new love interest after she is the supposed victim of a shark attack. Somewhere in his heart show more he believes she is still alive. When things don't add up, he goes looking for answers to new questions and settles old scores. I loved the story, it was action packed, and the romantic scenes were very well written.
One thing I would recommend, a stronger editing. I found myself rereading in places because of grammatical errors or typos.

A successful woman judge hires a disgraced ex cop as her bodyguard. Chick lit? Yes, but with some mystery to make it interesting. The two have a history with secrets they don't want to share
I enjoyed this book. The writing for the most part was crisp and the plot kept my interest. Great beach read.

Member's Giveaway. An interesting if slightly unrealistic thriller. The writing is tight and story flow is nicely paced. A hunk of a hero and a beautiful heroine make the reader's wish-fulfilment dreams alive, but some of the characters and situations are just a little improbable, but this is what this sort of romantic fiction is all about! The writing needs to be proof read (libel case not liable case for example and many more).
