Reviews
Lavin does a hell of a job analyzing the architecture, lighting, subjects, and iconography of Della Francesca's enigmatic painting. I found some parts more convincing than others, but overall everything was exceptionally plausible (certainly not always the case in academic writing) and her interpretation will now always color how I see the work.
