Young me would have given this 4.5 stars. Now, I cannot squint for all that detail. And most of the information was in very tiny blurbs, making me feel as if I was being peppered with buckshot. If it sounds intriguing to you, or if you have children who need more science books, please do investigate it. It's just not for me.
What They Don't Tell You About Love In the Movies by Clair Watts

Kate and Joe seem to be a perfect match. They definitely like each other each other and they both love movies. Plus they are always talking. But they find out life is not that simple and at age seventeen is there really a "happily ever after"?

A well written story, of friendship, young love and self discovery. Written in alternating points of view between Kate and Joe added to the originality of the story. Kate is very likable, show more the average teenage girl well liked among her circle of friends. Joe is likable as well, he too is liked among his friends.

I really loved the writing style of Claire Watts. I liked knowing how Kate and Joe felt. Also there were mention of many movies before some chapters, which was very enjoyable. I liked learning the facts and brief summary of the movies, most of which I have seen and some I have not.

I feel that young adult and adult readers of all genres will enjoy what they don't tell you about love in the movies. I do plan on reading more of her work. A true 5 star read!

Z found this on the new book shelf at the library, started it in the car, and then closed himself up in his room as soon as we got home so he could finish it. So, yeah, he liked it.
Natural Disasters is an non fiction book, it tells and give u details about many natrual disasters. The book covers earthquakes to epidemics, tells you how and why many of the worsen weather we have seen. It gives pictures and describes each and every tsunamics, volcanoes, & earthquakes.
This book was a great book help me understand more about the weather and what it can do. This book talks about very personal events that has happen in my life, for example, Hurrican Katrina. My family was show more involved in it & we didnt know where they were for survival days bout thankful in the next couple of days we heard from them. I would use this book in my class because it is a very detailed book and can help understand nature.
I enjoyed this book & would consider that everyone reads it. This could be use very helpfully aroun the fourth to the sixth grade.
