Melanie Merchande knows how to draw an audience into her writings. I wish she had toned down the sex and left some of it to our imagination. I don't need to know the graphic details. No one does, really. If you are a Christian, you will likely consider this book to be way outside your comfort zone.

All complaints aside, the characters were well developed. The plot was GREAT--very engaging and sounded very realistic. I just would have preferred hints of sex as opposed to a full explosion of show more it. What's strange is that this isn't a book that I would normally pick up. Marrying a billionaire isn't something you do everyday and I think that was the main reason why I read the book--to see what the author had in mind! show less
A perfect love story. I have a soft spot for love stories with babies in them and this one was just like that. Also shifters make every story better at least in my opinion and also in this story the characters were very interesting. I didn't stop reading before the end because the story kept me in its claws. I loved it. And I will try to read more from this author.
They first meet at a grocery store and he behaves like an entitled butthead. At first they really seem good at is arguing. She has a really bad opinion of rich people He needs to find a wife to avoid losing control of his company to his ex-wife. He propositions her to marry him and things get more interesting when she discovers he's into domestic discipline. In the end it gets hot and steamy as she learns she likes spankings a whole lot. Some editing issues.
I liked the (at times) snappy dialogue. I'm not sure why it took 70% of the book for the two of them to get around to "doing it". Talk about build up. And yet another story where the guy is a billionaire. Am I somehow missing the point that to be kinky (or attractive to women) one has to have a zibillion dollars?
