I checked this book out from the library (doing research for a paper), and loved it. Then, by chance, I found it used at Moe's Books in Berkeley, so I bought it. I might also have bought it new (full price). In addition to a foreward by the (then) Archbishop of Canterbury and an introduction by the editor, the book contains 14 articles, many on important figures in the English tradition, including Anselm, Bede, Julian of Norwich, John Wyclif, Cranmer, Hooker, George Herbert, the Wesley show more brothers, William Temple, and others. show less
Includes essays by Jeffrey John, John Halliburton, Christin Hall, Brin Horn, John Gaskell, Andrew Grany,Julienne McClean and Jill Pinnock
