Great tidbits of wisdom and advice, I was looking for something more but a great meditation for seminarians.
Helpful material for serving and prospective Priests, though written in what is now somewhat dated English. It also makes reference to some of the debates current at the time. But in the main the material is timeless. It also helps to know some Latin and Greek, as Ramsey assumes some knowledge of both.

John Pritchard, the current Bishop of Oxford, wrote the foreword to this new edition and praises it as a classic. That it probably is, but better for most will be Pritchard's own book "The show more Life and Work of a Priest". show less

The chapter on the Communion of Saints illuminates and explains this concept wonderfully well.
