This books continues the line of misogyny it's set out, this time killing all the women with it. The author states in the back that she set out to kill all the major characters... because... of some crappy literary reason. Really if you can find a way to let your characters live, then you are a bad writer.
Yes some characters have to die, but only if there is no other way. This is what makes their death such an impact is that you KNOW they had to die. She just sets out to slaughter her show more characters and in the most shit filled fashion too.

Also the climax of the book isn't anything special either. It's the typical "We can't go back to Earth" set up. Ultimately in the end women are still regulated to baby factories and men are still the "ones on Top".

Once more women are simply just sex objects to the whole storyline, where Thor wants to marry Karim after what.. a week of knowing her? We really only learn that Thor has only FIVE MORE YEARS TO LIVE and that all the black people have been genocided because why not add racism to the misogyny pool.
Zagi is back, probably forgot about him from book one. I have a feeling he killed Rai by leaving him for dead, rather than the excuse that "Rai just fell down a pit."

Other than that, there's really show more no more story progress. This is just a huge book of pooping on the female characters. show less
Men are beasts

This manga is terrible. I have no idea how this is some kind of award winning piece. We are barely introduced to Rai before he's killed... OFF PANEL as if the artist/author had a plan for him and scrapped it.Women are "" and they are constantly bested by men, and their whole existence is reliant on a man. It's made to seem like they have some kind of power, but really they don't which is why their rings are the exception "FEMALE Sun Ring" etc.Of course Thor is super good at show more everything he does, so much he has to save the women. When he shows up, everyone moves over for him.Really it's a shallow story about violent men fighting each other.
