Applying for a summer internship at an upscale auction house just because she has a mad crush on one of the bosses, may be Career Fail 101 for Hannah Cohen.
Certainly, she is heading that way when she spends her first week focusing more on the way Bruce Nelson’s mouth shapes his words than their actual meaning.
I am sure you have all realized by now I LOVE BBW Romance and erotica books and As He Bids by Olivia Rigal is up in my top 10! oh my goodness I identified with how Hannah feels in show more certain parts of this book. In the very beginning of the book we find Hannah waiting with all the other interns waiting to find out when she is placed. She is excited to be in the same building as the man she has had a crush on since she was 12! but at the same time she doesn’t feel as polished as the receptionist Tabitha, she feels rumpled net to her. But then she spots her crush, the delicious Bruce Nelson walk though the lobby and smile so nicely at the receptionist, that jealousy invades her…
I am going to leave the story there, as I don’t want to give away too much of the deliciousness. Olivia Rigal’s style of writing just flows and I just flowed along with it. As I am not so much into art, I had to look up a couple of the artists and art pieces she spoke about (thank you Google), but that didn’t take anything away from the book. It is a hot and sexy piece of erotic fiction, but it also has an amazing plot and it just sucked me right in!
This book earns a 10 out of 10 for blowing me away! show less

Red Hot Holidays (17 Contemporary Romance Books by Bestselling Authors about Shifters, Billionaires, Officers, Rock Stars, and Alpha Males) (Red Hot Boxed Sets) by Lacey Silks
BLACK CHRISTMAS BY JC ANDRIJESKI:
This complete story in a very few pages made me want to know more about both Miri and Quentin. Miri is having a rough time and her friends are helping out – except for the person she is avoiding talking to and yet wants to spend time with. Very well written and a wonderful contribution to this anthology! Thank you to JC for the copy to read and review.

What an interesting short story! I have read a number of the segments of Allie’s War but have never seen this side of Terian before. I liked the idea that even really BAD guys might have a softer side and that all of them start out young and innocent at one point in time. I wondered after this story if Terian might be redeemable…
I have not read the other books in this bundle but look forward to doing so. show more Great value pack and plenty of reading for any time of the year!
Thank you to the author for an ARC of this story show less

When it came time for me to write this review I was not sure what to write. I just could not get my thoughts to sound right in the written word and I agonized over this for sometime. You may think that I was having problems because the story was bad, but this was not the case. I think it was just a case of believing that I could not write a review that would be able to this book justice. Well I eventually got over my angst and wrote my review. Here are my thoughts on Ripped by Olivia Rigal. show more
In Ripped we meet Lyv a high school student whose life was not abounding in love. Her mother is verbally and emotional abusive and her father is weak and could stand up to his wife’s mean attitude. There is definitely no love between Lyv and her parents. At first I was a bit taken a back when Lyv referred to her mother as the bitch but as the story progressed it became clear that she is quite deserving of that name. Lyv’s mother made her feel like she was less of a person. It was this feeling of inadequacy that led to her forging a bond with Terrence Charles Clarke (Ten). Lyv’s friendship with Ten was what helped her to keep sane. I believe that because Ten was able to relate to what Lyv was going through helped to cement their friendship.
One day while Ten and Lyv were at a concert she met Alexander. They hit it off instantly and eventually a relationship was forged between them.
I thought Lyv was strong in light of all that she has endured; however there were moments that she made me want to hit her over the head. I just could not believe she would make the same mistake twice. I was able to relate to Lyv’s character and I could feel all the hurt that she has endured.
I found Ten to be compassionate and supportive especially where Lyv is concerned. Initially I had liked Alexander but as the story progresses I saw him as being immature and selfish.
Ripped by Olivia Rigal is a beautiful story of unconditional love. This is my first encounter with the author so I was not sure what to expect, however based on the blurb I figured that this would be a story worth every waking moment spent reading it and boy was I right in my assumptions. From the very first page I realize that Ripped was going to be a riveting read. I was pulled into the story and I could not wait to see what was coming next. While reading I experienced an array of emotions as there were moments of anger, sorrow and joy.
I can’t go into much detail without giving away too much of the story so you will just have to get yourself a copy to find out all that has happened. The most I can say is that if you enjoy stories that will inspire you, make you laugh, make you cry then Ripped is the book for you.
I thoroughly enjoyed it and I am eagerly awaiting the next book in the series.
