3 Solid stars.
This is one that is tough for me to rate.
The sex scenes are very HOT except one scene that really made me cringe.
There were parts that I loved, parts I Hated and parts that confounded me.
Also, the cliffhanger... In this instance it ticked me off a B I T L O T!
It cheapened the story. There really was no reason for this to be chopped up into 5 FIVE separate books.

So the bottom line is that this story both annoyed me and intrigued me. However, show more it did not intrigue me enough to continue the SERIAL not SERIES that it is listed as.

My feelings for Taylor are all over the map- First I felt sorry for her then I decided I didn't like her very much and at the ending I was loving her. Adam oh Adam I loved him from the get go and loved him even more throughout the book. His feelings for Taylor are off the charts crazy. At first they don't seem so bad but as their long history unfolds it's clear he's been suffering for a long time. There is danger lurking and at first it seems a just random but as events go on we find out show more about an evil plot.
Great Ending but I'm glad there will be another book coming soon "The Everlasting Pursuit" because I want more of Taylor & Adam. show less

The storyline could have been a good one but I felt the author was more interested in creating sexual situations which were too long and added nothing. The book covered rape, miscarriage and abortion which could be upsetting for some readers as there was no sensitivity involved. I found it a long tedious read with no conclusion - which I hate - in my opinion it's just a way for authors to make more profit by selling a few chapters each book so people feel compelled to chase the ending by show more buying further books. Safe to say I won't be reading any more books by this author. show less

Michael Hawkins wants Miss Doheny to fulfill a very specific job position for him. Her resume can get her any job she wants, so she's not obligated to take the job if she truly doesn't want it. Something tells her, this is the job for her, and she gladly obliges.

Just wait and see what she is required to do in order to execute the contract she signed. It will please more than just Mr. Hawkins.

This is a quick read at almost two hundred pages. It is intriguing and complex enough to keep you show more reading. The situations Lindsay Doheny finds herself in are purely fictional, but they make for a great book. 5/5. show less
