A very good and old friend who is equally smitten with the Leone Eastwood "man with no name" westerns gave me a copy of this book. I've watched this movie many times.

If you're not a fan of these movies and lived through those times when they came out you'll likely not be too keen on this book. As a book it's not that impressive and not a patch on other westerns. Further it reads like a scrip of the movie. But I enjoyed it mainly I suspect for nostalgic reasons.
If you've seen the movie and liked the movie, which I did, you'll appreciate reading the book. Otherwise, I'd give it a pass!
Straight-forward movie novelization, good story, but adds nothing to the film's tale.
This is a novelization of the Movie, better watched than read. Millard also did the screen play. the story is a rework of the man in the middle, and the characters are very remote.
