This is Aven Ellis's second book and once again I was sucked in!

Kylie plays by the rules and has always conformed to what everyone tells her. She is a freak about organization, has an eye for vintage fashion and loves to sew. And if you haven't figured it out by the title alone.. she has a thing for gingers.. mainly Prince Harry. After trying to ditch her brothers wedding reception she never expected to fall..literally in the lap of her own Prince Harry in Dallas.

Harrison is a big time show more hockey player for the Dallas Demons, but he doesn't want to be known for that. He wants to just be himself. That's why when Kylie falls into his lap,he is more than grateful that she decides they shouldn't exchange names. What neither one of them expects to find in a bar is someone that really and truly gets them. The real person they both are. Not who someone wants you to be, or someone who everyone thinks they know. They are simply Kylie and Harrison.

I loved how their story unfolded. I think my favorite thing is how much Harrison liked Kylie's quirks. He doesn't want her to be anyone other than who she is. I really liked how the story handled the celebrity aspect of the story. Reminding us all that celebrities are people too. Who they are on tv,online, and in gossip magazines is just one aspect of what makes them, well them. Of course there are some bumps along the way, but these two know what they want and resolve things. Light, quick, fun and clean read! Oh and I also loved how Connectivity was mentioned in this book! I love how Aven's book worlds overlapped! If this is any indication of how Aven's books will be then I look forward to reading more!

Two lives full of endless possibilities together

This is the third book I read by Aven Ellis (it looks like I started backwards) but quite frankly at this point, I will read anything and everything she writes. I'm pretty sure I would find her grocery list entertaining! The way she writes is totally captivating and her stories always sweep you off your feet.

Connectivity had me laughing and swooning the whole time. I loved the main characters, they were so different yet so perfect for each other. MK cracked me up with her clumsiness and I show more loved the teasing and banter between her and William. One of my favorites things was seeing their relationship evolve and seeing how MK changed William. At first he was the serious, intimidating, no non-sense boss who was always too busy to have any kind of relationship. But once he met MK, he slowly became a totally different person -he was funny and charming.

William and Mary Kate get 5 stars from me for being such a delightful and amusing couple. Their story will leave you with a smile on your face -guaranteed!

Waiting for Prince Harry is a fun and cheery PG13 romantic comedy in book form. For a romance novel, it is very tame and clean which, for the most part, I enjoyed. There was one huge opportunity involving a penalty box that I would have enjoyed seeing Aven Ellis capitalize on, but overall, an enjoyable read.

Kylie is a fairly competent protagonist and falls into the trap of saying stupid things when speaking to a very attractive man that all young women do which was a refreshing breath of show more fresh air in the romance department. For the most part, though, Kylie is quite a push over – she lets her boss take advantage of her and holds off on following her own dreams, always waiting for the ambiguous future. I have the habit of letting the same mentality consume me, always hoping that things will get better without me having to actually do anything to make them so. However, when Kylie finally stands up for herself and her relationship, it’s an incredible moment. She becomes the eloquent and passionate protagonist I hoped she’d be.

While I did enjoy the literary palate cleanser that is Waiting for Prince Harry, I would have liked to have seen a great deal of evidence for why, after only one week, Kylie is convinced she’s going to spend the rest of her life with her Prince Harry. Many of the elements of the romance, in this sense, felt wildly unrealistic. I think I’m just too much of a cynic to throw myself fully into the idealistic soul mate romance.

I already pre-ordered this but jumped at the chance for an ARC. I really enjoyed Connectivity and looked forward to seeing what else Aven had in store. This did not disappoint! If possible, I loved Lauren and Oliver more than Mary-Kate and William. And there was a (sort of) cameo of another fan favorite from the Modern Royals series.

As an aside, I love that all of her books seem to take placed in a shared universe (the Aven-verse?).
